With so much going on in our lives it can be hard to take a breath and slow down. There is always something that needs to be done. But we should try to take a few seconds, minutes, or hours to enjoy a moment of our day.
This morning for the first time in months I took a walk around my neighborhood. I used the extra 15 minutes before my remote work day was going to start. I enjoyed the quiet of the morning, seeing the birds, embracing the steam from the water sprinklers on the lawns, and admiring peoples’ gardens.
All it took was a few minutes to create a memory and a difference in my day.
