If you would like to buy or collect journaling supplies, small businesses are great to support instead of the usual big box craft stores.
Etsy.com and Redbubble.com are two places I recommend for shopping that directly connects to personal people rather than large organizations.
You can shop from hundreds of artists online stores for a variety of journaling supplies.
I have personally used both websites to buy items, as well as have my own shop. (This is not a sponsored or affiliated post in anyway, simply sharing helpful resources!)

What is Redbubble?
Redbubble.com is basically a print on a demand shop, supported by individual small business owners.
Which in my opinion, this also makes it environmentally friendly. Since the products are only created on a as-requested basis.
Rather than having a surplus of inventory some where in storage.

How it Works
According to the Redbubble website, it is 3 simple steps:
- Artists open up a virtual shop and upload their designs
- Shoppers find a design they love on a product they are interested in to purchase
- Artists get paid and the shopper gets a unique item
Redbubble produces the physical product with the artist’s design and ships it to the buyer.
The small business owner/ artist, receives a portion of the sales. The amount the artist earns depends on their price set up.
Journaling Supplies from Small Businesses on Redbubble
There are hundreds of physical products to choose from but for this article I focus on journaling supplies specifically.
Some items available for crafting, junk journaling, scrapbooking, etc. are:
- Stickers, with options of Glossy, Matte, Transparent and 4 sizes
- Hardcover Journals, options of ruled line, graph, or blank pages
- Spiral Notebooks, options of ruled line or graph pages
- Postcards and Greeting Cards
- Washi Tape inspired stickers
- Photograph prints in 4 size options
Once you select an item you like, add it your cart, check out, and soon you will have unique journaling supplies to use in all of your craft projects!
What is Etsy?
According to Etsy.com, “Our global marketplace is a vibrant community of real people connecting over special goods. The platform empowers sellers to do what they love and helps buyers find what they love.”
Etsy is an online platform where shoppers can find and purchase one of a kind items for themselves, or gifts for loved ones.
What differentiates Etsy from Redbubble is that there are endless possibilities, whereas Redbubble has set physical items.

How it Works
Etsy has over 18 categories of products but within each section are custom creations by small business owners.
Creators add a product listing to their shop, with images, details, and a description of their item.
The small business owner then sets a price for their product, while keeping in mind the Etsy fees reduced from the sale. So once a shopper buys an item, the creator receives a payment.
The cool part about Etsy is sellers can also have digital products, meaning there is no shipping and the buyer receives their journaling item right away.
Journaling Supplies from Creators on Etsy
Etsy has so many different options to choose from but here are some journaling supplies you can find:
- Completely designed junk journal books
- Notebooks
- Postcards
- Labels
- Printable junk journal ephemera sheets
- Printable or Digital crafting templates
- Washi Tape
- Stickers
- Miscellaneous crafting kits
- Crafting pens

- Scrapbook Paper
With any of these items you can find them with all sorts of patterns.
Various colors, designs, themes, elements, holidays, animals, and specific interests. Really anything you can think of, it’s most likely there!
Conclusion
With both Etsy and Redbubble you have options to purchase journaling supplies from small business owners and help support their artistic creations.
There are pros and cons to both websites but together you have so many fun crafting items to explore and choose from.
Personally I enjoy both having physical products and digital downloads to select from.
