When watching a video, there is typically dialogue but also an important factor of music and background noise.
The songs featured in a movie commonly set the tone of emotions through out the film.
Think about it for a second. How many times has a commercial or trendy YouTube video, caught your attention by the sounds that you hear?
It probably made you feel a certain way, whether you noticed it or not.
That is why music from Epidemic Sound is so helpful in adding personality to content.
Truthfully the time of year I most fell in love with this program was at the holiday times each year.
I heard really catchy wintery Christmas songs in videos online and wanted to know where I could find them.
That is what lead me to Epidemic Sound!

Journaling Videos
If you have seen any of my journal with me videos, I often use lofi style music.
Lofi music is great for crafting, reading, studying, or doing anything around your home, so it opens the door for many types of viewers.
I try my best to add sound tracks that match my videos and encourage viewers to keep watching and listening.
It works really well for me so I thought I’d take a moment to tell you more about Epidemic Sound‘s features incase you would like to check it out!

Sharing Favorite Details of Epidemic Sound
When you find a song that you enjoy you can either add it to a playlist or select the heart icon which ‘favorites’ the song.
A huge perk, which is why many creators use Epidemic Sound, is that they own the rights to the tracks.
So you can use all of these options in content with out the worry of copyright, royalties, or legal risks.
You also don’t have to just be using Epidemic Sound for content creation.
You may simply create a playlist to listen to and enjoy all on your own.
I tent to make playlists of new songs each month and link them in my YouTube video descriptions.
Music in Content Creation
For example, if you use a song from Epidemic Sound in a YouTube video, it is approved within the copyright guidelines.
The video you created can be monetized by YouTube with no issues.
It also adds more of a personal touch to what you are working on.
Instead of being limited to songs on whatever platform you are using.
It is quick and simple to: search for a song, download it to your device, and add it to the content you are are making.
Supporting Creators
Another positive on the creator end of things, is musicians can join the program to submit tracks, and earn an income.
While you may have a person creating journaling or scrapbooking videos, if they include songs from Epidemic Sound then viewers are technically supporting multiple artists.
So all around this program supports content creators and small business owners.
Review: Is Epidemic Sound Worth it?
Yes! It is certainly worth it.
Overall I think Epidemic Sound is very helpful tool that supports artists, musicians, and content creators.
While also giving listeners a positive experience.
As a person who is not the most technologically savvy, I find this program very user-friendly for finding unique songs and sound effects.

If you would like to sign up for a subscription they have a variety of payment options for either annually or monthly.
Personally I paid $119 for the year. I rarely sign up for subscriptions but this value truly is worth it for me.
The ease of finding and adding songs to my weekly videos without worry of copyright issues has saved me so much time. and I’m never at a loss for options to select from.
