Hi Everyone,
Have you considered journaling or writing in a diary but don’t know where to start? Journal writing can be whatever you want it to be and in a way that you design. My personal favorite way to document my entries is through bullet journaling. This week’s topic is about various forms of journal ideas and ways to get creative.

Journal Prompt: How / what do you typically write when creating a journal and what do you wish you wrote more of?
Here are some journaling concepts to consider for getting started:
- Bullet Journaling– entries consisting of writing, list making, drawings, calendars, tracking items, scrapbooking, and really anything you want. Typically in notebooks with dotted paper instead of traditional lined paper.
- Daily entries about that day
- Goals
- Budgeting
- Planning for events, vacations, holidays, projects, etc.
- Creative story writing
- Biography entries
- Dreams you had the night before
- Mood Tracker Charts (happy, sad, anxious, excited, angry, stressed, etc.)
- To-do lists
- Activities you would like to do for yourself, or with family and friends
- Organizational tracking charts (example- how often to water plants)
- Grocery / Shopping Lists
- Places you would like to visit
- Memories from over the years
- Notes about your family tree
- Stickers, drawings, photographs, stencils, stamps, colored pens and pencils
- Anything you want!
Journaling can truly be as simplistic or creative as you would like it to be. The important thing is noting the various stages of life, both big and small moments of everyday living. You and your family will have these notebooks for years to come to look back on and cherish all these memories.
