Preserving Memories for Future Generations

For a fun project, create a time capsule to look back at special items remembering the past while appreciating the present.

Growing up I loved journaling and saving little mementos. As a child I had an envelope and paper that I’d mark notes with dates of when to open it again.

At college orientation my class wrote a letter to ourselves and the school mailed it to us at the end of the academic year. I loved that!

Time capsules can be stored in the home to rediscover down the line. Here are some creative and simple ideas to save memories for the future. A time capsule can last for 1 year, 5 years, 10, 50, the choice is up to you!
