I’ve been working on the design the past couple of weeks.
I have had an admiration for moths since my grandfather gave me the book The Girl of the Limberlost, many years ago.
It’s a story about a child who collects and learns about various types of moths.

Ephemera?
Maybe you have seen the word Ephemera in Etsy stores but aren’t sure what that means.
I know I wasn’t quite certain what it was at first.
So here is a helpful definition from the Oxford dictionary:
“items of collectible memorabilia, typically written or printed ones, that were originally expected to have only short-term usefulness or popularity.”
How did I make this Junk Journal Print?
A program I enjoy using often is Canva.com
It is a helpful and fun platform for creating designs using my own photos and materials but also available graphic designs and pictures.
All of the items in my Etsy shop were created using Canva resources.
For this particular product I used a lot of moth photographs and clip art elements.
With filters and keyword searching background images I added a bit of a vintage feel and textured look to the pages.
