The holiday season is a very busy time but try to take a moment to write down holiday memories in a journal!
I encourage you to write both the happy and sad times to truly reflect what you are going through and your holiday experience.
This will create a special journal to reflect back on in the future.

Here some ideas for topics to journal about:
- What activities did you do?
- Places you went / traveled to / visited
- People you spent time celebrating with
- Details about holiday parties you went to or hosted
- Date nights with your significant other
- List of gifts purchased and received
- If you are interested in finances, budgeting for the holiday time
- Share details about a special ornament or decoration piece
- Holiday craft projects you worked on
- What has the weather been like?
- When preparing gifts, did you use wrapping paper or gift bags? Include a piece on to the page!
- Cards sent and received
- Details about how you decorated, and/or your neighborhood decorated
- What holiday movies did you watch?
- What is your favorite holiday song?
- Special recipes
- Share the difficult moments as well
- Are there things you are struggling with this holiday season?
- Write special memories you have with people you miss
- Holiday joy you created for yourself!
