Preserving Memories for Future Generations

Have you ever attended or hosted a family reunion? Maybe it’s been awhile and you’d like to plan one soon.

I attended one years ago as a child. Even though I was young, I still remember it very well.

It was such a fun experience having all of the family in one place.

Last year my sister visited with all of her paternal cousins at a birthday celebration. It was the first time they were all together. I’m sure she will cherish these memories forever.

Everyone is spread across the country and took the time to travel and meet up with one another.

Why have a Family Reunion?

Special events can sometimes have a similar feeling but there is usually a different structure involved compared to a planned family reunion.

A reunion is great way to schedule a time once a year or every couple of years to gather together as a family.

You can catch up on life events, meet new family (children, spouses), and reconnect to continue relationships in the future.

You will have the opportunity to create new memories to last a lifetime!

Reunions and Genealogy

A reunion is also a great way to share family history information.

You can swap stories and important details about your common ancestors.

Be sure to ask questions and exchange important documents.
