Think about how often you hear songs all through out the day. Music is constantly around us even if we don’t realize it. In the car, at the store, in the hallways of an office building, at your desk, on the radio, in commercials, and the list goes on. Consider all of the tasks you do and what music you may put on while you do them. That brings us to today’s topic!

Prompt- What music brings you the best memories and joy?
- What songs bring you joy and motivate you?
- Who is your favorite music artist, band, or group?
- What is your favorite song?
- Do you have different music genres you like to play at different times (driving, cleaning, exercising, working)?
- What songs or artists do your friends and family enjoy listening to?
- What forms of music do you own?(records, cassette tapes, cds, digital downloads, streaming services?
- Do you have a favorite music lyric?
- What songs or music you reminds you of a loved one?
In your journal write down songs and the memories that help you treasure both happy and sad times. For some creativity, add in pictures of artists, write lyrics with stencils, include ticket stubs, and more!
